Grant

Grant believes in honoring the natural environment and creating spaces that feel beautiful, functional, and deeply connected to home. Originally from Colorado Springs, Grant grew up exploring the foothills, riding trails, climbing rocks, and spending long days outside. That early connection to nature shaped the way he approaches his work today. For Grant, landscaping is not about forcing something artificial onto a property. It is about using what is already there, honoring the natural environment, and creating spaces that feel beautiful, functional, and deeply connected to home. He enjoys serving the people of Central Oregon.

What drives him most is simple: faith, family, service, and doing good work. As a husband and father, Grant cares deeply about building a life rooted in honesty, presence, and purpose. That same mindset carries into every project. He believes a client’s property should reflect their vision, not just a contractor’s opinion, which is why collaboration is such an important part of his process.

Whether he is shaping a more peaceful backyard, helping create a fire-resilient property, or bringing structure and beauty to a landscape that once felt unfinished, Grant approaches every project with integrity and care. He believes good work means showing up fully, solving problems without cutting corners, and creating spaces that people and families can truly enjoy for years to come.

At the heart of it all, Grant wants to be known as someone who serves his community well, has a foundation in faith, respects the land, and helps people feel more connected to the place they call home.

John

I'm a devoted family man and a man of deep faith. My faith is the foundation of who I am—it shapes how I treat people, how I work, and the pride I take in doing things the right way. For eight years, I served as a deck boss on a fishing vessel in the Bering Sea, where hard work, resilience, and teamwork were part of everyday life. That experience taught me the value of commitment, trust, and standing shoulder to shoulder with the people around you.
Today, I bring that same dedication to this business. There's something meaningful about working the ground and helping transform it into something beautiful and functional for families and businesses to enjoy. As part of a growing small business, I'm proud to be building more than landscapes—we're building relationships, trust, and a reputation for quality. I care deeply about the work we do and the people we serve, and I approach every project with integrity, heart, and a strong work ethic.

Judah

Judah brings a rare combination of discipline, grit, and real-world experience to all projects. After a decade of service in the U.S. Navy as a search and rescue swimmer and helicopter crewman, he developed an unmatched foundation in attention to detail and situational awareness. These skills translated directly into his work as a Certified Flight Instructor with an Instrument rating.

Before stepping into the cockpit professionally, Judah spent two years in the logging industry in Northern California, where he started as a choker setter and worked his way up to leading the entire crew. It was one of the most demanding and rewarding chapters of his life and it reinforced what he already knew: hard work and earned trust matter.

Now, Judah has found new avenues that align with his calling. He works as a flight instructor and here with us at Grantland. His dedication to his craft allows him to always do good work that builds trust with our clients.
